"Food was really good there were 3 of us and we ordered a 4pset plus cold noodle. We finished everything pretty much. The beef included in the set menu was so good. My favourite was the signature beef. Tenderloin and another beef dish with picked veggie. The pipi cold dish was awesome too. Overall a great experience. We went at 1.20pm on a Saturday and there was not much people."

"Qiqihar Charcoal BBQ is a hidden gem for Northeastern Chinese BBQ in Melbourne! When we first arrived and saw no customers inside, I was a bit worried - but turns out everyone was seated out back in the charming outdoor area, beautifully set up with tents, warm lighting, and cozy decor. Despite being outdoors, it didn’t feel cold at all. The food was fantastic - highly recommend all the meat options on the menu. My favorites were the lamb skewers and the Qiqihar marinated beef - both were very flavourful. The cold noodles and the crayfish were also excellent and came in a generous portion. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m craving authentic Northeastern Chinese BBQ!"

"Northern Chinese BBQ its differ to Korean BBQ that it’s less spicy and salty but more delicious! I had the BBQ set for two ppl in this restaurant. The portion was big. The meat was fresh and tasty. The boss and staff were very friendly to explain the meat and ingredients. The restaurant was full of ppl on weekday night when I went. I glad that everyone knows it’s a very nice place to eat in. I’m highly recommend the restaurant to you guys!"

"Went in the top dining room for a large party and the ventilation system was no where to be found. My eyes were getting steamed by the smoke. Overall the food was alright and my favourite dish was the meat that had the onions marinated in. Found the other meat dishes to lack flavour or ud have to dabble in the sauce bulk. Rice was good and presentation of most things were nice. Corn was good, skewers were alright (meat was pretty small on them). They were missing a lot of the wagyu items (stock issue) so might of missed out on some quality stuff."
